THE REVOLUTION CONTINUES….Ron Paul’s Campaign For Libery!
These past 17 months have been among the most exciting and eventful
of my life. Together you and I delivered a message of freedom the likes of which American politics had not seen in decades. I wasn’t sure the country was ready for it. But it was a message, I discovered, that many Americans had been waiting for a long time to hear.
I have been blessed with the most informed, well read, and enthusiastic supporters of any presidential campaign. Your extraordinary efforts in organizing and fundraising grabbed the attention of millions of Americans and shocked just about everyone in politics and the media. I still cannot get over all the fantastic work you did.
Something of great significance has just occurred in our country’s history.
With the primary season now over, the presidential campaign is at an end. But the larger campaign for freedom is just getting started. Therefore, I am happy to announce the official launch of the Ron Paul Campaign for Liberty.

Activists Preparing Against Use of “Brown Note” At Dem Convention
Political activists planning protest rallies at the upcoming Democratic Convention in Denver have their stomachs in knots over a rumor about a crowd control weapon - known as the “crap cannon” - that might be unleashed against them.
Also called “Brown Note,” it is believed to be an infrasound frequency that debilitates a person by making them defecate involuntarily.
Mark Cohen, co-founder of Re-create 68, an alliance of local activists working for the protection of first amendment rights, said he believes this could be deployed at the convention in August to subdue crowds.

The Internet is the last true unregulated outpost of freedom of speech but moves are afoot to stifle, suffocate, control and eventually pull the plug on the world wide web as we know it. These threats are not hidden nor are they hard to deduce and yet a significant number of Internet users remain naive as to their scope.

| The terror war is a complete fraud and we are not over in Iraq fighting for freedom. It is time for propagandists like Malkin to face the facts. Ask yourself how much credibility Malkin and her followers have when they resort to baseless conspiracy theories with no factual evidence to spin the truth of what was an obviously authentic video of a U.S. Marine engaging in some incredibly disgusting behavior. | |
The conspiracy theorists over at Michelle Malkin’s web site Hot Air, have now been forced to admit that the conspiracy theories they endorsed surrounding the infamous puppy toss video were completely false. Several months ago, Hot Air went into damage control mode when a video showing a U.S. Marine tossing an innocent and defenseless puppy over a cliff while on patrol in Iraq surfaced on the Internet. Malkin and others immediately claimed that the video was a fake.

GOP leadership, ideology to be challenged at state convention
In Idaho, Paul’s supporters plan to turn out in force at the state convention, continuing a strategy aimed at, if not capturing the Oval Office, at least forcing a more conservative platform on John McCain as he seeks to capture it.
“These people believe there’s a benefit to standing by their candidate all the way to the national convention,” said Dan Young, a member of Bonner County’s GOP Central Committee. “You have to admire that kind of passion. You didn’t see that with Mike Huckabee. You didn’t see that with Mitt Romney.”

FaxForTruth Announces a Special Action: Fax John McCain
Source: http://faxfortruth.com/wordpress/?p=17
Given that Blair Gadsby has announced the end of his inspiring 17 day hunger strike, it is time for us to fax-bomb John McCain telling him how disappointed we are that he was unwilling to even listen to a citizen of this country who was on a hunger strike for something he believed John McCain should hear. Let’s tell John McCain his allegiances are obvious, and he will definitely not be getting any of our votes. Such a closed mind is not fit to be President of the United States. Usually, a polite tone is preferable, though in this case it only seems natural to let your anger and disappointment known to John McCain. His actions in this case are unforgivable.
Please take two minutes to fax John McCain’s Washington D.C. office. You can send a free fax at http://www.faxzero.com . Let all of Washington hear the news. We are many, we want the truth, and we are never going to stop until we get it.

Thin man hungers for meaty answers
The Arizona Republic
Jun. 12, 2008 12:00 AM
The thin man who has been starving himself outside the Phoenix office of U.S. Sen. John McCain bugs us.
You can tell by some of the things people shout as they pass in cars on 16th Street. You can tell by some of the remarks left online about the article about the man earlier this week by The Republic’s Richard Ruelas.
The idea of this now-skinny guy sitting on a lawn chair in the shade just south of Missouri Avenue gets on our nerves.
And it is not only because this particular man believes that the U.S. government was complicit or perhaps even responsible for the attacks on the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001.
It’s more than that.
Reasonable people can question 45-year-old Blair Gadsby’s judgment. We can question his objectivity. We can even question his sanity. What we cannot question, however, is his commitment.
Trouble at the Pentagon
The Pentagon is in crisis: The war in Iraq is entering its fifth hot summer. And while U.S. troop casualties are down, the light at the end of the occupation tunnel is no closer and no brighter.Headaches mount on the home front as well. The head of the Air Force was recently embarrassed and forced from the cockpit.Billions of dollars have been misplaced or misspent. Paul has rented Williams Arena at the University of Minnesota, which hold 11,000 seats, for September 2, smack in the middle of the Republican convention, which takes place at the Xcel Center.
He is also encouraging the delegates he won in the Republican primary — fewer than 50 — as well as Paul-leaning delegates committed to other candidates, to make their presence known at the Republican convention.

Inflationary Expectations vs. Economic Reality
As we start to see the end results of Bushonomics and its wealth consolidation, which is working according to plan, we need to be reminded of the statements of the GAO from a half of a year ago, that the bottom 50% of the economic population now accounts for only 25% of the gross domestic product of the nation.
Thus, by the classical Smithsonian definition of capitalism, the bottom 50% of the nation has been rendered economically unproductive.
In other words, the cost of their consumption exceeds the value of their contribution. This then completes the circle in this country which also represents new investment opportunities, which we will further disclose.
First of all, the beginning of this circle is the inordinate rise of inventories of commodities of all types. The coming problem in America?
Too many commodities of all kinds, and not enough storage to store them all.
Where is this stuff being stored? It is being stored through existing facilities like warehouses, silos, oil terminal storage facilities, etc.
Justices Rule Terror Suspects Can Appeal in Civilian Courts
Supreme Court: Guantanamo Detainees Have Rights in Court
In Stinging Defeat for Government, Detainees Have Right to Challenge Detentions
By JAN CRAWFORD GREENBURG and ARIANE De VOGUE
June 12, 2008
In a stinging defeat for the Bush administration, the Supreme Court ruled today that detainees held in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba have a right to challenge their detentions and that congressional legislation has failed to provide a reasonable substitute for such a hearing.
In a 5-4 decision, the Supreme Court ruled June 12, 2008, that detainees held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, have a right to challenge their detentions in federal court.
The ruling invalidates portions of The Military Commissions Act of 2006.
The decision was 5-4, with Justice Anthony Kennedy joining the four liberal justices on the court.
Writing for the majority opinion striking down the Military Commissions Act of 2006, Kennedy wrote, “The laws and Constitution are designed to survive, and remain in force, in extraordinary times.”
The stakes are enormous. The justices have thrown open the courthouse doors for the 270 detainees currently being held at Gitmo who will now argue that they should be able to be present in court with access to most of the evidence against them. It will also impact the cases of some detainees who have been charged with War Crimes.
Why Oil Prices Are So High
Paul Craig Roberts
Global Research
June 12, 2008
How to explain the oil price?
Why is it so high? Are we running out? Are supplies disrupted, or is the high price a reflection of oil company greed or OPEC greed. Are Chavez and the Saudis conspiring against us?
![]() |
|
| Hedge funds and investment banks are restoring their impaired capital structures with profits made by speculating in highly leveraged oil future contracts, just as real estate speculators flipping contracts pushed up home prices. The oil futures bubble, too, will pop, hopefully before new derivatives are created on the basis of high oil prices. | |
In my opinion, the two biggest factors in oil’s high price are the weakness in the US dollar’s exchange value and the liquidity that the Federal Reserve is pumping out.
The dollar is weak because of large trade and budget deficits, the closing of which is beyond American political will. As abuse wears out the US dollar’s reserve currency role, sellers demand more dollars as a hedge against its declining exchange value and ultimate loss of reserve currency status.

Ron Paul’s Excellent Minnesota Adventure
Well, now you know. There is a plan. In fact, there was a plan all
along. And it is just brilliant. The Paulistas are going to hold their own convention in nearby Minneapolis. 10,000 strong. And all those duly, legally, elected delegates that got cheated out of the Republican National Convention, will be seated after all.
And no, this will not be the start of a new party or a “revolt.” This will not be a colorful debate like the Creative Coalition and other rump events of the past. Nor will it be an exercise in academia, like the Alan Keyes ballroom events that drew a 1,000 people who were so bored they could not keep their eyes open. Nor will it be a media, entertainment event, ala Arianna Huffington and Bill Maher’s Shadow Conventions. This won’t be a walk out, it will be a “walk in.” These very serious Paulistas will be meeting to organize how to take back their own Republican Party. How to elect “constitutional” congressmen all across the country. And how to come back in four years in the driver’s seat.
Ron Paul’s Compelling Manifesto
The Iraq war has not only caused death and destruction abroad. It has
damaged our civil liberties at home. The “misnamed Patriot Act” (p. 114), as Paul aptly terms this nefarious piece of legislation, allows the administration to arrest and hold without trial anyone it wishes, not excepting American citizens. Were not such lettres de cachet a cause of the French Revolution? Even John Ashcroft, hardly a civil libertarian, had before his accession to the cabinet condemned measures like those he was later to enforce. “While a U.S. Senator during the Clinton years, Ashcroft warned about proposed invasions of privacy” (p. 117). Paul, not content with criticism, has proposed concrete legislation to end this outrage.
IRAQ: ‘Special Weapons’ Have a Fallout on Babies
After denying it at first, the Pentagon admitted in November 2005 that white phosphorous, a restricted incendiary weapon, was used a year earlier in Fallujah.
In addition, depleted uranium (DU) munitions, which contain low-level radioactive waste, were used heavily in Fallujah. The Pentagon admits to having used 1,200 tonnes of DU in Iraq thus far.
(Warning: horrifically graphic images of children whose parents were exposed to US-dropped chemical weapons before they conceived.
When Bush talks about “progress” in Iraq, no one in the alleged media dares to confront him on this part of his “legacy” in Iraq.
And not only is depleted uranium affecting Iraqi kids; it is also affecting the kids of our own vets who have been exposed to this.)

Hungry For Truth - Day 17 - (Blair’s Last Day on Strike)
Day 17 of Blair’s hunger strike for 9/11 Truth came and
went with dozens of citizens stopping by to give Blair their thanks and appreciation for a selfless act dedicated to the Truth about 9/11. Alex Jones interviewed Blair and Senator Johnson today as well as Mike Rivero of Whatreallyhappened.com and Jeff Farias from Nova M radio. Blair decided Day 17 would be his last day fasting for truth. His weight has dropped to 124 lbs from a normal of 155 lbs. Given the amount of press coverage, good or bad, generated from his hunger strike, the fantastic speech by Senator Johnson on the floor of the Arizona Senate and the apparent lack of concern by Senator McCain. Blair has decided that 17 days was enough. What better day than the 11th of the month? He has asked the staff of Senator McCain to forward any response from him to Blair’s home address. What started out as an individual, sitting in a lawn chair, seeking a response from his elected representative in Washington D.C. ended with a positive response, not from the elected senator and not just from people in Phoenix, but from all over the world. People everywhere are hungry for the truth, and they are tired of being lied to. Email came from all over the country and globe. The people know about 9/11.
The spell is wearing off. We may still be a silent majority, but we know. If anything is learned from this, it is the historical fact that one individual can make a difference and a contribution to better their city, their state and their world. Don’t let anyone tell you differently. In my opinion Blair Gadsby has solidified that notion and he raised the bar a little in the process.
In the next few days Blair would like to issue a statement and as soon as he is ready we will post his words, and or video, here on 911 Blogger. Many thanks for everyone’s support in this effort. Stay Hungry.

In Debate Over Permanent Bases In Iraq, U.S. Seeks Authorization For War In Iran
Think Progress
Thursday, June 12, 2008
The ongoing negotiations between Iraqi leaders and the Bush administration over the future role of the military occupation “have turned into an increasingly acrimonious public debate.”
The Bush administration’s demand for 58 permanent bases in Iraq — a near doubling of the current 30 bases — are causing Iraqis to warn that the status of forces agreement would be “more abominable than the occupation.” The administration is reportedly holding hostage “some $50bn of Iraq’s money in the Federal Reserve Bank of New York to pressure the Iraqi government into signing an agreement.”
The reason the White House is so hell-bent on signing a long-term agreement may have less to do with Iraq and more to do with Iran. According to press reports of the ongoing negotiations, the Bush administration is seeking the “power to determine if a hostile act from another country is aggression against Iraq.” Ali al Adeeb, a leading member of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s Dawa party, confirmed:
The Americans insist so far that is they who define what is an aggression on Iraq and what is democracy inside Iraq…if we come under aggression we should define it and ask for help.
The administration’s request would seemingly allow the U.S. to brand Iran as an enemy of Iraq and attack Iran in the name of defending Iraq pursuant to a legal obligation under the status of forces agreement.
Strike on Iran nuclear sites under discussion again
As Bush travels across Europe to gain support for possible new sanctions against Iran, Israeli leaders have been working to lay the psychological foundation for a possible military strike if diplomacy falters. In public threats and private briefings with American decision-makers, Israeli officials have been making the case that a military strike may be the only way to thwart Iran’s nuclear ambitions. The very fact that a military strike is percolating back into mainstream debate is a significant shift in the political discourse -Dion Nissenbaum/McClatchy Newspapers
Rice Formalized Missile Defense Policy At Bilderberg

U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice moved the U.S. missile defense shield agenda a step forward during her attendance at the Bilderberg meeting last week, during which she formalized plans to sign a treaty on installing a U.S. radar base in the Czech Republic with Czech Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg.
The news underscores the fact that important policy decisions are advanced at Bilderberg and that the event is not an insignificant talking shop, as debunkers often claim.
Reports out of both Czech newspapers and Chinese sources confirm that Rice formalized the policy at Bilderberg.

the economy. Right-wing radio-talk-show host Glenn Beck, for example, has said he just can’t bring himself to pull the lever for McCain. Libertarians have a host of problems with McCain. Some are against the Iraq war. Others view his climate change policy as the biggest government power grab since the New Deal.
